Quince flower pillow
A favorite spring activity is identifying which bush or tree is flowering next: taking the same walk every day, and noticing just how much it changes in only 24 hours, or walking some place new and noticing flowers and buds you have never seen before. This quince flower we found on a dead-end road, leading down to Samish Bay just South of Fairhaven, WA, in February 2015.
