It's Never Too Late to Learn Your ABCs!

If you just joined the Kær party: welcome! You may not know this, but we custom-make all of our prints from nature photography. Awesome, right?! Why do we do that? Because nature is awesome, ageless, and amazingly alive. And that's how we believe clothing should make us all feel.

We put a lot of thought into the choice of fabrics, the size and placement of the print, and above all, the candid color-combinations. Black (tbh) is great as a background, but it's a bit boring. (See what I did there?)

You think Bibi is wearing a pant-suit, but it's even better: our palazzo pants and mock turtle neck blouse give you many more possibilities...

Seriously, I do love black as a base for showing off a great print or bright scarf, but if you saw my husband's side of the closet (all black clothing) as compared to mine (all bright, sparkly, and full of color), you'd not believe that he's the Southener and I'm the Dane. (Yes, we are known for wearing all black all the time. There is a reason I don't live in Copenhagen).

All alliterative ass-holery aside, I started going through the alphabet this month to find inspiration and to show you that there is no limit to how amazing print-on-print combos can make you look and feel. We're posting some of our favorites, but we can't wait to hear what you think works better for you.

So, this is quite possibly my favorite. Then again, most of my pieces are (I'm unfaithful like that...). Here, Liz is wearing our Cecile baby doll and a metallic boat-neck jersey. Cute may not cut it.
